Air Cleaners?
My son called from CA and told me to put full flow air cleaner in my 00 PSD. There are several diferent types K&N, True Flow ... , speicial cotton paper, speicial washable foam... $50 price tag...
After what he said I'm sure it's the way to go.

Go with the kwik mod we all talk about. Initially cheaper anyway. I have the airraid system and Im gonna throw it away. It came with the truck so I didnt really pay for it. It the kwik mod is the napa gold 6637 aka the wik46637. You wont find this filter at autozone or checker. Carquest or napa.

there is this thing we have here at FTE. it is called a "kwik" filter. what it is, is just a huge filter that just so happens to fit on the end of the intake pipe. you remove the airbox, this thing just takes up all that room. go to www.fleetfilter.com , it is part number 46637. they have it for $18, which is REALLY cheap. i have it, you can see it in my gallery.

Ditto on the 46637 from fleetfilters. You'll love it. Order 2 or 3 to save on shipping.
Grab some oil and fuel filters too.
While you're in that area, clean up the insides of the intake up to the turbo.
Might want to do the CCV mod at the same time, lots of threads and pics on here for that.

Ford had Donaldson build the best filter in the business for the 6.0. Then they did a retrofit for the 7.3 called the AIS. You get the best in filtration, holding capacity and flow.
