What color are?

Im installing a lighted FORD logo on the tailgate but i need to know what color the running light hot wire is and the ground that is in the harness that goes to the rear lights. I could use a test light but didnt want to poke holes in every wire.

thats because they use a relay to isolate any battery source on the trailer.

yep, i took off pass. side light because there were 2 blacks. i should have done that before i asked. 1 ground to running, brake, blinker and 1 to revers. i didnt realize the light socket is replacable so that was if it breaks you dont have to cut the harness. pretty cool if you ask me. i confirmed with a test light in the sockets and of course you were right!

at the trailer plug harness (7 pin plug big one) pin # 6 is brown/white tracer and on pin # 2 of the( 4 pin small plug) this the marker light.

White wires is on pin 2 of the 7pin plug and pin 1 of the 4pin plug it is ground
