quick intake manifold queation

On the edelbrock performer intake. What is a good way to press in that water sleve that connects that littl piece of hose from the waterpump to the manifold

heat intake, cool sleeve, push together and let sit.

I used a 2x4 and a hammer.
I put the 2x4 against the tube to protect it, and tapped the wood with a hammer.

I did the same as Banjopicker and used some Gasket sealer on it too before it was pounded in.
