I need help with this one as I can't find this info anywhere. I have a 72 F-100 4x4 with the 360 (according to the vin code). I bought the thing for a steal of $200 after the previous owner blew the intake gasket, saw tons of smoke and thought he blew the engine up. Luck for me, it was just the intake gasket. No biggie, I've gotten the new gasket and am trying to put the FE back together. Problem is I can't find thetorque pattern ANYWHERE! I've bought and looked through several Haynes and Chilton's engine manuals that say they cover this engine, but all refer me to the vehiclhe specific book (which neither still sell, go figure). It is the factory 2v intake, so I don't think I will hurt it by torquing it in a cross pattern similar to the 460 (less the extra bolts), but I would rather be sure than risk having to replace the gaskets again. Any help would be appreciated, cause if I keep having problems, I'm just going to stick my spare 400 into it and call it a day!!
