Wheel Squeakage

I drive an '88 BII H/L4WD Auto Transfer Auto Tranny
2.9L

When I get going about 30 My ?Front Left? Wheel or something around there starts to squeak, it keeps getting louder and peaks noise level at about 42 and then gos quiet untill I'm going about 60. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help,
Mckray Jones, Utah

Does it change when you hit the brakes?

Could be a number of things bad wheel bearing, rust ridge on rotor, ect.

Nope, the brakes don't change it at all. Could it be the U-joints on my front drive shafts?

U-joints aren't spinning if the hubs are unlocked (assuming the hubs are properly unlocking). If it does it in 2WD with the hubs unlocked, I wouldn't expect it to be the u-joints.
