Hey guys, I just recently i found out that my brake lights dont come on when i brake. I checked the light bulbs and they are fine, replaced a blown fuse but did nothing..

Any ideas on what to look/test?

How about the stoplight switch?

I think you'll find that to be located under the dash attached to the brake pedal linkage.

i had that problem, on mine the bulb was good , it was the ground wire from socket to ground, had corrosion . take a test line check the wire back to the socket and check the ground at the socket.

Wink Brake Lights

Get a test light. At the brake light switch, you should have 12 volts at 1 terminal with the brake pedal not depressed, and 12 volts at both terminals with the pedal depressed. The switch is located on the brake pedal arm above the pedal. You can also pull the connector off of the switch and with a paper clip, connect the 2 terminals in the harness together--that will illuminate the brake lights if everything else is OK.

Check your hazard switch isn't half way depressed.
