I know of another who suspected a 29er bein put in his long bed...can't remember. I guess you should look under a LB and SB and note the difference. Or you could get a 6 gallon container of diesel take it with you and test it, risky, risky.
I bought the LB for the 38 gal tank and added utility. If it came w/ a 29, you have a valid claim, just look under std features.
Does this allow you to put more gallons of fuel in or does it just fill without foaming. My 01 has the 38 gal tank I would like to carry more fuel I'm assuming you can do this on the larger tank also.
38gal is the largest tank on 250/350 as far as I know unless you go aftermarket. The harpoon allows you to hold more or overfill faster than pumpin slowly in a non-harpooned tank. I once put 30.5 in a 29gal tank. Don't recommend it and won't do that again.

It does NOT allow more fuel to be put in your truck!! It might allow you to fill it to the top of the neck faster. I done mine and it does NOT help me fill it any faster though.
The 38 Gal tank will hold 42.8 Gals. or at least when I ran mine out that is all I could put in it!!
