Has anyone changed to a larger fuel tank or aux fuel tank? I know the diesel guys do it, but not sure people with gas trucks do. would like extra fuel for towing my camper with my 2008 F250 CC, SB
This is my install in my 6.2, it's also the same tank I used in my V10, the V10 has longer hoses so I used 1 1/4 emt conduit and1/2 emt conduit spliced into the hoses. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...k-install.html
I did the 47 gallon replacement from TransferFlow and sorry I didn't do it sooner. It's the one giant step if you tow much. I have a 10k Airstream and would normally have to fill up every 225-250 miles; now it's over 400 miles before I start looking for a gas station. The replacement tank is expensive, but it was definately worth it to me.

I also had to upgrade my fuel tank (not by choice) and went with the TransferFlow. It's terribly expensive, but the one upgrade I really love. I get about 10 mpg so I figure I can go roughly 490 miles before I run out of gas. Low gas light comes on at 360 and I've run it to 440 or so.
