problem with my transmission helppppppppppppppp
HI I HAVE A FORD 250 DIESEL 6.0 LT 2004, LAST WEEK I NOTICE THAT MY CAR HAS THE OV/D BLINKING, AND DURING I WAS DRIVING WHEN I STOP THE CAR WANTS TO GO ON, IT MADE A LITTLE NOISE LIKE TAN-TAM OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, AND SOMETIMES I FELL THE CAR DOES'NT HAS ENOUGHT POWER TO CHANGE THE SPEEDS, I THOUGH THAT WAS THE CONVERTER BROKEN AND I CHANGED IT BUT IT GOES IN THE SAME WAY, PLEASE IF SOMEBODY KNOW WHAT COULD HAPPEN TO MY CAR HELP IS APRECCIATE.ffice

When the light is blinking there is a code stored in the computer. You need to find someone with a Ford specific scan tool to read the code. Without that all you can do is replace parts at random until you stumble on the problem.

Posting two topics and typing in all caps is a sure way to not get people to answer and to make them a little irritated at you.
Autozone will pull codes for free normally, but make them give you the codes, and don't buy anything from them. Bring the codes home and post them here, then we can tell you what to do. I would suggest being gentle on the driving to/from the zone as well.

They did it improperly. If that light is on, something is wrong.
I'll ask the stupid question, do you have OD on?
Pick up a scan tool yourself or get Autozone to do it, there's a code in there somewhere.
