ebay wayne_765 Excursion Manual DVD

I received & installed my 2005 Excursion Repair Manual DVD from wayne_765 on ebay that I paid $38 shipped. It installs but will not open any files due to an error message that states the disk is expired and should be discarded.

I emailed wayne_765 & left him an ebay message with no response so far (only one day).

Has anyone else had a similar experience? Did I get ripped off?

Try changing the date on your computer to last (or earlier) year.

I have to do that with one of my DVD manuals.

Yeah. I was thinking of trying that. If that is necessary, wayne_765 should mention it on ebay.

Did you have to uninstall the program, change the date, & then install it, or, will it work after installation by changing the date?

It works after installation by changing the date.

Thanks, Monsta. I received an email from wayne_765 advising that the PC date has to be set to the month of the disk or the month after. My disk is August 2004.

I'll try it when I get home, tonight.
