I am swapping a 66 Crewcab onto a 90 F 150 Supercab (shortbed 139 " wheelbase) 4x4 frame. Motor is a 95 351, E4OD tranny and BW 1356 transfer case with the flange on the end for the cv type driveshaft(not slipyoke).
Question is this: Does anyone know if there is a driveshaft for this combo?
If not I plan on using the driveshaft from the engine donor (Supercab longbed 155"wheelbase) and shortening it.
Thanks, Matt
Where did you get a transfer case with a fixed yoke? Did it come from a Bronco?
As far as I know, the fixed yoke cases were a Bronco item only. Your best bet is either to use a slip yoke case, or get a driveshaft out of a Bronco and have it lengthened.
Sounds like a cool project, though. Do you have pics or a webpage?
My 8ft bed regular cab F350 has the fixed flange for the rear driveshaft. It should have the same WB as the short bed SC.It also has the same combo 351/E4OD and BW case.
