aluminium driveshaft
After having my steel driveshaft rust through, I need a replacement. I would like an aluminum one, and I have seen them on some f-150 's
I have a supercab, shortbox. I think that is a 139 wheelbase.
4x4 w/ e4od tranny.
How long of a driveshaft do I need?
And what other trucks came with em? years?
I would like to be able to just go hit up a junkyard and save a few coins.
Thanks

2wd also? That's the only combination of these years I've seen with an aluminum driveshaft. Strangely though, my old 88 E-150 parts van had one...

It appears that the Gen 1 Lightning also has an aluminum shaft. Until recently I thought only the 2wd long box got one.
My 95 2wd extended cab has a two piece shaft. Is the 4wd a one piece?
