Hey guys, I'm interested in some measurements/pictures of the factory parking brake cable setup, as well as the driveshaft and hanger setup on a longbed/supercab truck. Mine is a 5.4 if that makes a difference on the driveshaft, but I'm not sure.
What is your intent with these items.
I can get some measurements but will need more specifics of what your looking for.
Where do you need the measurements from? specifically.

I extended my truck (used to be a shortbed), and for now I just have a shortened crewcab/lb driveshaft and a makeshift brake cable, but I want to get factory stuff eventually.
I particular, I need measurements of each segment of parking brake cable under the cab (there's a few pieces), and a picture would be great.
As for the driveshaft, I'm really just looking for a picture of how the hanger bearing is set up (if it even has one... are they one or two pieces?).
It is a 2 piece shaft. The carrier bearing bracket is mounted to the cab crossmember. This is aprox. 29" from the trans. flange. You will have to probably inquire with Ford or possibly parts guy "Ed" on the correct bracket p/n as well as the shafts and bearing. Ill have to assume you have a 4x4 truck.

Well, The front, and rear ebrake cables are all the same. Only the Intermediate(center) one changes based on cab/bed configuration. Here are the part numbers, and lengths for the intermediate cable options. Sorry I can't correlate them to configurations. That's all I got, hope it helps.
That's the method I used to get what I thought was the right cable. I agree with you that is seems the front and rear cables are the same in every truck, but it still doesn't match up.
I'm gonna shoot outside and measure up what I have/need.
Thanks for the input.
Edit: It seems that CARQUEST Brake Products 68957 $31.04 $16.34 47% 64-5/16" LENGTH - PREMIUM
is what I need. I must have messed up while ordering last time.
Do you know offhand what the wheelbase is on a supercab/longbed truck?
