Hey All,
Well the Big day is alomst upon me and I am getting all my toys packed up and put away for a while. For those that don't know me I am transfering to England with the Military for 4 years. I just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be on here very regular until probably the end of April or the begining of may. I also wanted to Thank Ken for giving me a place to be Pro-Ford in a Pro-Chebbie town! This place is an always will be the first place I come to with my questions or off-the-wall ideas. I have met alot of Good Folks here who I have come to think of as friends and will keep in touch with ya'all. Who knows where I will wind up when we get done with this tour. lol. I will miss Abilene believe it or not, I have made a lot of Good friends here and will definatly be back (My trucks and all the parts are here!) I also Have alot moreparts I need to find at FM600 wrecking. lol. Man they have everything. I am really excited aboutgoing but find it very Ironic that I have been trying to get out of here for 7 years and now when I finally have all the parts lined up or sitting in the garage to do my truck I get orders. lol. Oh well, 4 years to save Cash and a fresh start await! My E-mail is going to go inactive on the 12th so starting then If you want to reach me give me a shout at fordfan92(No Email Addresses In Posts!). I will get back with you as soon as possible. Take care all and talk to ya'all in a couple months! Look out UK, here I come
Brad, It's a good thing that you won't have your truck over there, you'd only get in trouble with it (BIG TRUCK< LITTLE ROADS) LOL but anyway take care Hope you are closer to NJ when you get back!!! Maybe I can get my fingers in that diesel duallie 4x4 conversion yet!!!! John
There is a Base in Jersey, McGuire AFB, 20 miles from Trenton. I have seen it pop up on the overseas returnees listing more than a few times. I might try and get there. Closer to my Family and Closer to my wifes Family as well. I'll let you know. Next house we buy will be in th country with about a 60x40 shop. lol. I made a deal with the wife. She makes and sells her own candles and Bath products on line and around here. She wants me to build here a 20x20 building near the house when we get back and get settled to do her stuff in and to use as a shop. I told her no prob but I want a decent shop. She went for it . I am hoping to pull some TDYs (Temporary Duty Assignments) while overseas and any money I makeoff fo those I am just going to bank. Hopefully we can save up a good amount of cash and set our selves up nicely when we get back. Tka it easy.
Brad, Mcguire is real close to mount holly they have mostly farms there. There are cities like trenton and Mount holly(small) and about 30 min. away is Hammonton blue berry capital of the world!!!! close to Phila. and AC John
Brad, Take care and have a safe trip dude. I don't know how many Fords you will see over there, if any, but at least you will be able to log on and keep in touch with everyone here at the FTE. Just think about those in the services years ago. No computers, no World Wide Web, no FTE. That would be real tough. Good luck with your adventures overseas. Jake.
Thanks everyone, I will definatly be keeping in touch. Keep me posted on the Fords and the Projects and I will Post some pics up if Ken sees fit of England. Who knows I may become FTE's first "International" member. lol Talk to ya'all real soon.
Hi Brad,Have a safe trip and enjoy the new frontier
Are you gonna still visit here?If not we will hold the fort down for ya
later,
