i have a couple of rust spots on my 81 ford i wanted to know if any body could tell me a couple differnt ways to fix rust spots from a -z and what products to use i want to fix it before it gets any bigger
You could sand the area, slap a piece of mesh behind it, and slather it with bondo. Then fix it in a few years.
A really cheap option many people do is cut the rust off and cover it with fender flares.
Or, the right way, is to cut it off, and weld in a patch panel. Which is not as scary as you'd think. I just did panels on my truck in the driveway this past summer and it came out pretty good actually.
