I need some logical unbiased thought. I own a 89' f150 xlt lariat, power w/nice interior, got 139,000 miles on it, inline 6, and it has a 4" suspension w/3 inch body. It has a lot of my pride and joy, love the truck. I tipped it over onto its top, sorta rolled it, now the body is in bad shape, need to fix almost all body parts. The question is, do i put a 95 or 96 body on the frame or do i buy a new 1999 f510 w/5.4, 87,000 mi for 9000. I am pretty biased but would like some logic here.
thanks
brian
buy the "new" one to use as a car, and keep the old, rolled over, beat up one the way it is, in all its bent and busted up glory, to use as a whooper, and then you will not have to worry about scratchin it up or dentin it when you go wheelin.
