I bought into the acceleraters before I up'd to Cable internet. I got Alurias "Dr. Speed NetRX". It seemed to speed up page loads, but like it was mentioned above, it cached alot of info so when you went cruising to the same sites it loaded guicker. Also, it seemed to reorganize the way info was sent/loaded. A full page load wasn't faster, but it seemed the important stuff was sent first ie; text and links, images were last. . .
