Truck Is Still Under Manufactures Warrantry.. It's A 2003 Ranger Xlt Level Ii.... Water Keeps Holding In The Passenger Side Rear Tail Light... Will Ford Fix It? Or Just Keep Draining It?
as far as i know you have a 3 year 36 month bumper to bumper warranty.. Ford should replace this free of charge... if you dont have the warranty you could always drill a small drain hole in the bottom of the tail light and that would also make it so you dont have to disasemble it and drain it constantly
Yeah, they should fix it. Probably just a small crack somewhere. no big deal really 'less it gets in the electrics. But you can just drill a small hole at the bottom if you don't wanna deal with them like 99 said.
I just had the exact same problem fixed on my 03 Fx4 Level II yesterday, along with the switch for my cruise control lights on the steering wheel, at no charge. It is all covered under your 3 year 32k bumper to bumper.
The only thing my dealer asked me was,"Are you having any other problems with the vehicle?"
Sorry about that, 36k is correct....and make sure you deal with your issues BEFORE the time or mileage is up..Not After, I can't Tell you enough times how important that is......36001 miles your warranty is OVER...
