Barry Grant Speed Demon carb problems?
I have a new pair of 650 mechanical secondary Speed Demon carbs that haven't done anything since I bought them except sit in boxes but they're already having problems! I bought them a year ago and I haven't even run fuel to them yet but they're sticking when I actuate the linkages. Both of them are so slow to return to their original "rest" positions that I'm wondering what to think. I know they weren't like that the day I bought them but how in the heck have they aged like this already? BTW..They have been stored inside my closet away from dust and moisture. To make matters worse it appears Summit doesn't even carry them anymore. Now I don't even know if I should try sending them back! Has anybody else had similar problems with these?
