They are Holley derivatives, so tuning/adjusting is the same. I had one on my old F250 for a while and it ran fine. The choke linkage was weird, though, wouldn't fit inside a standard air cleaner.

Sorry to revive this thread, what is your full opinion on this carb?
Would you use it on a motor like mine with 390 pistions and a higher cr and head work?
I was looking into this carb more because it's newly designed and has the right cfm along with good tuneability.
Unless you think a 450 would be enough.

Nope, replaced it with an Edelbrock 600 and got rid of it. Other than Quickfuel I wouldn't pay a premium for a Holley derivative carb vs. a regular Holley. The Quickfuel DP on my Mustang is a very, very nice piece of work.
Quick fuel has a 580 and a 650 don't they?
And that sweet black carb! I think I was looking at the hot rod one I don't think I will need a 650, in fact I think a 600 might be a little big, I'm still going for trq not hp
