STRETCH, cuz it's a 1978 F-350 140" extended wheel base model. Rear axle is factory offset waaaaay back. Spare tire is in RH bed-side front wheelwell area. I think it might be a Super Camper Special. ?????

Thanks! She's alot of fun...i'm in the process of putting some more pics up. I want to start putting her in some shows when I get home. As you can see in some of the pics she's in need of a good cleaning. The mufflers and other semi-raw medals underneath the truck are starting to show how brutal the minnesota climate can be. Even if its garaged...
Hey lanceh13, what are the gauges inside your vehicle called, the ones that show the side of a vehicle and the front of another one? Just curious. Where did you get them? Thanks man. Yeah, you have a really awesome truck.
Dan, You can pick up that gauge through JC Whitney and I'm sure through a number of other 4x4 parts stores. (maybe even through one of the advertisers for FTE) its called a grade/tilt indicator. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/S...u=grade%2Ftilt
The link above is not the one that I have...you may want to do some looking around. Hope you find what your looking for.
My project truck (75 F250 4x4 chassis, currently sporting a 77 F150 body, but slowly working its way toward being more like a '65 F250) is called "Fugly", because, well, it is..... The '65 body has a coat of green primer that I have grown to really like, and since it looks military-ish and will be on 39's, I will be calling it "Corporal Punishment". Before that, I called the '65 "The Fireman", because it was red and used to be owned by a Maryland Fire Marshal. My E250 is a big white whale called "Moby"..... I have a '99 Ranger painted yellow and blue like Dale Earnhardt's old Wrangler cars from the '80s, that I refer to as "The Wranger". Other than that, they get named by what they are.... "The Superduty", the "Box Truck", the "700", "the new Ranger" , and "the wrecked ranger", but I am thinking of re-doing the wrecked '96 in a TX state flag scheme, and calling it the "Texas Ranger".......
I originally called it "The Ford From Hell", But I recently renamed it "Wonder Truck", because all my neighbors wonder if I'll ever finish it!! Kinda goes with the license plate, 1 WHFO (When Hell Freezes Over).
my family calls my trucks jr's follys. i'll take a truck and change it. took a
fire truck after 25 years of service, bought a bed off ebay travelled 5000 miles for this bed and put it on. then i found another bed in better shape and ended up using it. now that truck is in the body shop and has been there
for 1 1/2 years (1978 super camper special with 12,000 origional miles. i bought it with 5,400 miles). just bought another truck 85 dually (chevy silverado), bought a twin line/wheel lift wrecker bed in wisconsin off ebay, going to pick it up this weekened. so i'm taking a truck after 20 years as a
regular truck and turning that into a work truck. i just can't leave them alone. i still have that super camper special bed that i travelled 5000 miles for sale ed
