C6 Transmission mount

C6 Transmission mount
I have just about made all the measurements I can think of 5 times over, before I start on the suspension mods, but I have a nasty feeling that I am going to have to do something about my trans mount.
The C6 was already in the truck when I got it so can only assume that the mount was a standard aftermarket peice or maybe something borrowed from another truck. Anyway it looks to hang down very low. In fact from what I can make out it is actually lower than the stepside mounting brackets.
So if I get my truck to a nice low stance, my trans mount is only going to be a couple of inches off the floor, which sounds like trouble. Has anyone else had any experience of a C6 mount in a lowered 56 F100? and if so did you use a standard item or did you have to make something? I have added a few pics in my gallery, there is one in the stripdown album that shows the mount for reference.

I don't have a C6 so I don know how much help this is. I am running a TH350 and the transmission mount I used from NO-LIMIT is straight across with no drop at all. Yours appears to have a 3-5 inch drop from the picture. If you do any major lowering I'd think that you would want a transmission mount like mine with little if any drop.
