Chrome yellow IS yellow-very close, if not exactly the same as school-bus yellow. I know because I worked at a Ford body shop for 4 years and owned a chrome yellow 68 F100 at the time. I bought it from a local heating-cooling contractor whose fleet was, and still is, all chrome yellow. My 1979 F150 is Coral, and I would call it a reddish-orange.
I parted a 73 that was true orang, no arguement possible. It had white sstriping on it. Poor thing was too far gone for any salvage, and was partially stripped before I got it. I still have the box, fenders and hood...
That's medium Copper. A good friend recently had his '77 repainted the original factory color- pumkin orange. Ford called it Medium Copper, much to everyone's surprise. It's the truck everyone's gathered around with the hood up at our last FTE GTG.
