C7ME-A Casting number confusion

C7ME-A Casting number confusion
I pulled this FE out of a parts truck that ran pretty well. I was told it was a 360, but based on casting number and my research on here, my guess is that it is a 390. Just to rule out the possibility ( which may be impossible without removing the oil pan), has anyone seen this block as a 360?

yep Matts right ..Pull a Plug..and use a stiff wire..get the piston down to BDC and mark at the plug hole..and then run it up to TDC and mark it...and read the space between the 2 marks.. 3 1/2" for 360 and 3 3/4" for 390.. that simple... JMO..
