How far are you gonna tow it? A 12 ft trailer isn't very heavy, so you should be fine. It may take a little coaxing and downshifting in the hills, but you'll figure it out. If the alternative was to not go hunting, you could find a way to pull it with a bicycle.
Kevin, you should be alright as long as you don't get to carried away. The trailer isn't going to be that bad. If you get into some good pulls just drop down a gear or two, with the 3.00 you aren't going to fly up the grades. Have a great trip and good hunting . I would ask what you are hunting, but I am afraid of the answer I would get. No Nukes I hope.
Im pleasantly surprised actually, we have a good 10% grade or so right out on the main drag by our house.....35 MPH speed limit, 35 the whole way up, 2nd gear, no downshifting
