One more freak out here.....
Im gonna be nervous just one more time before I leave for hunting.....
.....About towing a 1963 12 foot Travel trailer to hunting Camp with my wifes pickup (the 82 in sig)
It only weighs Im guessing about 3 Grand, but the 3.00 rear gears just make me nervous........
Reassure me please, Im leaving in 3 days

How far are you gonna tow it? A 12 ft trailer isn't very heavy, so you should be fine. It may take a little coaxing and downshifting in the hills, but you'll figure it out. If the alternative was to not go hunting, you could find a way to pull it with a bicycle.

Im sure it will be fine, it cant weigh much, but I think the fact that its so old makes it heavier

Kevin, you should be alright as long as you don't get to carried away. The trailer isn't going to be that bad. If you get into some good pulls just drop down a gear or two, with the 3.00 you aren't going to fly up the grades. Have a great trip and good hunting

Im pleasantly surprised actually, we have a good 10% grade or so right out on the main drag by our house.....35 MPH speed limit, 35 the whole way up, 2nd gear, no downshifting
