Hello, Saw this on Ebay # 4583208128. Hope I don't get in trouble for this post. Looks like this guy could use some extra eyes and ears and everyone here is so helpful. I'm usually over in the 67-72 forum. Thanks
I feel for the guy but I have a feeling eBay is going to yank this ad, it must violate some eBay rule. I have seen many abuses on eBay just while looking for '48-52 Ford stuff. I once reported a person who obviously was breaking the rules. He listed a '48 Ford for a low amount, something like $50, when I clicked on the ad it turned out to be an ad for satelite TV, he also had a link to the POC truck he had for sale for $3500.
Hope this helps the guy finds the truck, it sure looks like a nice truck. Unfortunately, it's probably in a thousand parts, some may be on eBay. Hopefully, he is watching eBay, maybe he can find a lead through someone selling parts from the truck. Thieves aren't always the smartest of people.
I bet the owner can't sleep at night thinking of all the midevil stuff he would like to inflict upon the guy that stole her. Man, what a pretty truck. makes it even harder that it was a project with his kid.
You have to give the guy credit, that's pretty creative and if you guys are like me when it comes to theft (I think you probably are) we hope somebodys hide gets nailed to a wall!!
I met this fellow at the Kansas Speedway Goodguys show in September. He was there with his son and they were having a great time talking about what they had planned for the truck since he had only owned it a few months. He had just ordered a high dollar set of Dakota Digital guages for it. In fact he was running right behind me on the track when we took our turn. Hope he gets it back. No mercy on the thief if it were up to me.
They've still got his ad up. I figured it'd be worth posting it here. If someone in this forum see it they'd sure pay attention. I'm sure to a lot of people who may have seen it it'd just be another "old car". Thanks for not blasting me for bringing it to your attention. the lister has awesome feedback so I figured it was legit.
