What do you have to keep the egt's down with that big of a injector. Does the turbo make that big of a difference? I thought about getting some stage ones but i didnt know about the egt's. Thought it would be too hot.
LOL come on guys gimme a break! I got me a "new" dd company truck to drive........1990 2wd dodge with a cummins and 500k+ miles O yeah! So i will be able to leave my rig parked in shop most of time. If it happens to pop i will just go with stock hg's and some studs, dont know whose studs yet. If i dont get studs soon it will pop, 40++ psi isnt very nice to things. Gotta go figure out why truck just sputtered and died on me 120 miles from home loaded up yesterday afternoon . Thinking probably ipr stuck open at this point.
Farmboy- I run a stock 6oh intercooler to help keeps the temps down. I was pullin yesterday ( 24k+ gross at one point!) in stock setting and couldnt get egt's above 1000* no matter what i did. Pullin that heavy the tranny didnt like my lowest tow burn so now i gotta send it back into tranny guy and let him fix it. Also sending chip to TW to have him burn me a very light tow/ economy burn. Oh and turbo did help with egt's at higher boost levels than 20 psi, other than that egt's wernt really effected. H2 is very quiet til ya getter up above 20-25 psi so thats kinda nice while toiwng heavy. She really screams at what ever boost im running now. Almost need ear plugs lol.

no fuel heater on mine , im running a dual pump elec system. I have fuel and tach moves while cranking, but no start. Before it quite truck would sputter then take back off, sputter then take back off did this about 4-5 within 7-8 miles. Thank god I got nervous, stopped in big parking lot and called BDP for ideas, bout that time it died for good! Worst part is that i had to call my buddy to come get me with his '05 cummins, all the shop trucks were out on other routes.
It was IPR, stamped nut fell off the back, coil and collar fell off ipr into valley of engine. Boy do i feel stupid for not checking that before gettin towed . This has happened once before so it shoulda been the first thing i checked.
Oh and for all you saying i need headstuds..........I gottem coming! Truck is down getting tranny fixed soo that will give me plenty of time for studs and a few other little projects.
