Hey! I just put an aftermarket carb on my F150 and I bought the Lokar kickdown cable. The directions were terrible and I dont think I have it connected correctly at the transmission. Can anyone give me some directions or maybe a picture to look at?
As it is now, the 'trans arm' is pointed downward and slightly forward. I have the 'end stop' adjusted so there is no slcak and no tension where the transmission is in park. When I put the transmssion into neutral then there is lots of slack. And when I start the motor I dont get anything on the pressure gauge that I have hooked into the 'tv pressure port'.
If there is anyone who can help it would be great. I'm kinda lost until I can call Lokar on Monday and ask them for some real directions.

Alright, after all afternoon I worked my way through bad directions from Lokar(made my own bracket to position the cable to the transmission) and found the right port to put the gauge in. The truck moves and shifts, but it shifts a little early.
