wayne_l, looks like a fun truck!

I had some Toyotas years ago, here's my old 85 4-Runner that I put a 350 chevy into. It was a blast!

My 2004 5.4L FX4 SCrew:

Right now her current mods are:
CAI, cat back borla exhaust, diablo predator tuner. There's a whole slew of "cosmetic" parts on there too but I wont go into all of that.

She may be a mall crawler by definition but she spends more time on back country roads and oil rig sites then looking all pretty as a grocery getter I can promise that hahaha.

When the toyo open country A/T's finally wear out I'm gonna trade in those 20"s the previous owner had put on for some 17-18 inch rims and some toyo open country M/T's.

Other mod's on the wish list are:
-long tube headers and replace the muffler with a straight pipe.
- e-fan conversion
-under drive pulley
-4 or 6 inch lift (I'm still debating)
- possibly swap gears from 3.73 to a 4.10

I hope to do all that over the next year or two as funds become available

4" lift will put you 35-37 inch area....
With that size tire, 4.10 will make your truck feel like a dog...

This reminds me do we have a gear chart in the tech thread? Tire size to suggested gear ratio?
