my 89 from page 5 is my dail driver and does see off-road use, it's been in a couple mud boggs and playin on hunting trails and someother fun muddy places. i'm with habota on the 33 thing i had 33x12.50's on the truck with no lift when i first bought it.
I know my 79 could of fit 33s w/ no lift when it was stock, but eveyone in there seems to think for 80-96 Broncos NEED a 4" lift to clear 33s. I mean come on... it's not a jeep! A 4" lift will clear 35s pretty nice.
Engine: reman 360FE, 4barrel ford intake, Holley pro-jection, Dura-spark ignition, Accel super coil, clutch fan' headman hedders, true duals with cherry bombs.
Wheels/tires: 315/75,16 cooper a/t on 16x10 black rock crawler wheels. Fixin to put more agressive tires on it though.
Misc. Warn winch bumper, Ramsey 12,000 lb winch, class 5 hitch, 50 gallon fuel tank from a bucket truck mounted in bed, west coast mirrors from a '69 ranger, Cab steps, and chicken lights.... I love it!!!!!
Coming up is a custom aluminum flat bed on the back and my 4'' chrome stacks. And next week she is getting a set of low pitched 88 ford LT 9000 air horns.
Theres probably more I forgot to list but you get the point.

Ex-US Air Force truck bought at auction.
Engine (DONE): Didn't run when I bought it, missing teeth from the flexplate. Now with the flexplate replaced, running like a champ. Dynomax high flow cat, magnaflow muffler. No engine mods planned. Slow as crap.
Body (ALMOST DONE): Like every other truck in the midwest, rusty. Bad floors and bedsides. Replaced driver's side front floor and rocker panel, drivers rear rocker panel. Need to replace passenger floor pan. 2 gallons of spray on bedliner for cab floor and a new bed.
Tires / Wheels (WANT TO INSTALL BUT WON'T FIT IN GARAGE): right now I have 3 sets. 37x13.50R17 Toyo Open Country MT, 37x12.50R17 Goodyear MT/R, 37x12.50R17 BFG M/T. 5 Hummer H2 Wheels. I'll probably go with the Toyo's first and 1 Goodyear as a spare.
Suspension (TO BE DONE): 6 in. springs for the front (don't know what brand, they were used), rear - don't know yet, was thinking about a shackle flip, but I want to use the truck for hauling / towing also, so I'm not sure if the stock shackle in a compression setup will hold the load a F350 is capable of.
Future wants and desires (PROBABLY NEVER DO / HAVE): Detroit lockers front and rear, MM 12000lb hydro winch, shackle reversal for the front axle, time to drive it, winning lottery ticket (or Ivan's bank account), etc.
The Magnaflow Cat-Back System is known for power noticeable increase after installation. We've got lots of information in our Exhaust research guide.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Reman 302, new clutch, K&N FIPK, Transdapt throttle body spacer, catback straight pipes, 15X10 OutlawII rims, 35x15.50 TSL Super Swampers, 4.56 Precision Gears, rear Detroit Locker, 6" Superlift front/rear kit with extended radius arms, manual 5 speed. Now I'm broke.
Needs Somehow I've got to find a way to balance those Swampers and rims. The mag wheel stick on weights just didn't cut it. Anything over 60 mph is rough.
Wants Mass Air conversion, supercharger, winch etc. I would probably get a performance chip of some kind, but I'm looking for more low end grunt and can't convince myself the chip will help. The list never ends
The best mod was the gear change. I was really unimpressed up to that point. Now it runs great.
I've got an '84 Bronco with a 300-6 and an NP435/NP208 combo, its got around 97,xxx original miles, all stock except a set of 33x12.50s, 15x10 steel wagon wheels, and a 40 series because the original was blow out.
I've got about $350 into it and I'm the second owner. straight body no rust.
Planning the ever so common SAS and going with a 9" in place of the 8.8. Also going with the fuel injekted 300 out of a '95 F-150. Oh yeah and a new set of 33s or even 35s.
