doubled up on add a leafs
Just got done with my experimental rear suspension. I have a 76 highboy the rear springs were sagging quite a bit but I didn't want to spend a fortune on new ones so I bought two sets of add a leafs. I also took the bed off to replace the floor with diamond plate so that made it easier. Anyway it is sitting quite abit higher now than before and the ride is about the same as before. I think it will get better though when I put the bed back on. without the bed on now my rear bumper (top) is 33.75 inches off the ground. Does anyone have a stock highboy with new springs out there? I'd like to know what the stock ride height is. measured from the top of the rear bumper.
