I can use just about any piece for my 77 f250. There are no parts in northeast Illinois. Email me if you have these parts that are valuable to me:
trailer towing mirror
longbed dual tanks
steering clumn
auto shifter
steering wheel
grill parts
horn
any other small things

well, since this thread has gotten so long i think i will add my gloat to it! i know some of you have seen the stuff i have e-bayed in the last two weeks as some of you bought it all! but just for my own edification here is a list of the trucks i have found in the last three weeks or so while i was looking for parts for my truck;

12, yes 12 1964-1966 custom cabs! i have a box of radios, an A/C unit, a nice dash pad, an original power brake unit, and a ton of trim and other stuff
a 1968 ranger with bucket seats
a 1969 ranger with all of the fancy dash trim, courtesy lights, cargo light (it has A/C PS and PB but i didn't pull any of it it)
a 1971 ranger like i have never seen with factory stereo (got the wiring and grilles for the doors!), roof lights, cargo light, courtesy lights, this was also an A/C truck with PS and PDB and a 391 to boot!
about 2 dozen 78-79 rangers including a pace truck, a super camper special F350, a trailer special, an F150 4X4 (see my other post about frames and thanks to those that helped), an F150 4X4 longbed stepside, an F150 4X4 shortbed and a really neat lariat. i now have more tilt columns and parts and specialty parts like cruise, stereo wiring, courtesy lights, roof lights, side trim, emblems, 460 mounts etc...

i really got carried away and have too much but when am i ever going to get this chance again? my wife is really pissed off about the money but i have sold several items on e-bay for absurd sums so she is getting her investment back! i don't know why all of these have hit the wreckers at the same time but it has been amazing. out here most of the wreckers are self service and the vehicles come in and sit for two or three weeks and then get crushed so all of these vehicles have been junked in the last month or so. to be truthful a few of these should never have been parted out but the way the self serve wreckers work once these vehicles hit their inventory they are scrap no matter what. hawkrod

Is seat BOLTS correct, or is it supposed to be
Seat Belts?
Then seat belt bolts.

Seriously looking for seat BOLTS. I don't have any to just take to a store and buy more bolts so I'm just looking for a set out of another truck that will work in my 79. I have the seat BELTS and 1 of 4 seat belt bolts but I still need the seat BOLTS and the seat belt bolts. Thanx and sorry for the confusion!

Wow, interesting list. I can get the bolts the next time I get back to my favorite yard. There were also grill inserts from a '76 to be had.

The last time I was there I got Dk Green F100 Ranger door panes with the green vinyl inserts. After cleaning them up they are perfect. I was wondering if I should have taken the original green vinyl headliner which I removed to get the entire rear cargo light setup. Its still in the truck. There are also dk green seat belts.

I've also picked up a "perfect" rear center tailgate FORD trim panel. This piece looks like new and will be on Ebay in two weeks. I'll be listing F-O-R-D hood emblems, original anodized aluminum air cleaner, Bronco XLT emblems, racetrack molding, and a woodgrain XLT glovebox door w/hinges (easier to take the whole door), woodgrain instrument bezel w/AC vent. Also an all original '69 Deluxe herringbone bench seat near mint condition and dash pad from the same truck. This beauty had been someone's garage queen until hit very hard in the front. My id is Plutotm.

Does anyone need the metal chrome/woodgrain bezel which goes around the glovebox side of the dash from a '76-'77 Ranger? They are not easy to remove but this one is metal unlike most of the later years which were plastic.

I need an Orange trim dash bezel from the '78-'79 Pace truck/Sport Trucks which had all those orange and yellow stipes down the side. Someone find this and I'll be forced to pay the big dollars. . .
