Unhappy Arizona pinstripes

Well I took my 2001 Expedition out wheelin' and now I have about 50 stripes down both sides of my truck. I have always been extremely cautious with my paintjob, but I just went wild and now my clearcoat has paid the price. Does anyone have any suggestions on getting the scratches out. My fingernail does not catch on any of the scratches. I heard that Maaco charges $100 to wetsand a whole vehicle, but I've seen their work on paintjobs, not good. Any suggestions?

you could try hand rubbing with meguires cleaning wax, or some perfect it compound. they mau come right out. if not look for an auto detailer in your area they should buff right out without wet sanding. Most detail shops in my area charg about 175 for a complete buff shampoo interior hand wax windows ect.

Macguires has a 3 step clean/wax/polish geared for clear coat. The cleaner is extremely easy to work with and not very abrasive. I used it on our 1992 F-250 after Steve scratched it up helping my brother use. It worked great.
