Truck got keyed
Well I go out to my truck today to fix my door lock (stupid little plastic things keep breaking on rods) and see my truck has been keyed all down the side of it. Really pisses me off that someone would do something like that. I have no grudges with anyone and talked to all my friends asking them if they knew anything about it and they knew nothing. Not the slightest idea who would have done it. I didnt have it parked in any parking lots just been at my house and my friends house with me outside the whole time. I didnt have a nice paintjob or anything but it still looks even worse now. If I get a new paintjob and someone does that I would kill them.

Yeah that would make me very angry.
Even though mine doesn't have mint paint on it, the paint is thin on the hood and roof from all the washing and buffing. It's still in fair shape for 28 years though.

My 85' F-250 got keyed in 1990 while parked in a parking lot. When I came out of the store the cops were at my truck and had the perpetrator cuffed and in the squad car. This fool had keyed my truck all over down to the sheet metal.When It went to court, the judge gave the guy a choice. 60 days to come up with 3 grand to repaint the truck and 200hrs of community service or 3yrs in prison. Needless to say, his mother wrote me a check in the courtroom. I couldn't help but wonder as we were leaving, how many times she has had to buy his way out of trouble.

86F150302,Do you still have the confederate flag as your headliner?If you can see it through the windows,I wouldn't be suprised if that was the reason why someone keyed it.Not many people in Florida,especially around here in Central Florida,appreciate people like us flying the confederate flag.

i dont get these guys who cover their truck with confederate flags. it may not represent anything bad to you but alot of people take offence. why dont you paint a nice big swastika on the side of your truck and see what happens

That shouldnt make any difference. Your truck is yours not theres. People that do this are people that have problems an need help. What joy is it destroying other peoples property. I think it goes back to how these people are brought up. If my Dad found out I did something like this. I would pay a heavy price for my actions. He would let me know an it would never happen again.

Anybody who takes offense to the confederate flag should take American History over again.I'm pretty sure it's offensive because of Certain Groups who use the confederate flags and promote hate.Not all rednecks who fly the confederate flag are racist.I have had many people ask me if I'm racist,and I have to explain to them that not all of us are racist.The Confederate war flag had nothing to do with racism.The only people who should take offense to the Confederate War flag is the yankee soldiers who were a part of the Civil War.And I doubt any of them are still around.

Yes you can see it BUT I live in a small city Macclenny The black people here dont take offense to the rebel flag. My friends neighbor is black and she said she likes it alot and doesn't care at all out it.

ya well the swastika is an egyptian symbol meaning life and good luck but im sure there are a whole lot of people that dont know that.
150 ford- I know that shouldnt make a differance and it doesnt to me but alot of people dont feel that way. Im just saying that if your going to put a potentially offencive symbol on your truck then dont be surprised when it gets vandelized

People that are vandalizing trucks havent grew up yet an learn about respect for other peoples property. What somebody has on there truck is there business. Offensive or not. You just dont go around vandalizing other peoples property. These people should pay dearly for this to teach them a lesson. If they dont get penalized they will never learn.They should serve jail time at the least an do many,many hours off community service.

i never said they were right to vandelize his truck, i hope they are caught and punished for what they did. my point is i try not to offend others and i try not to give them a reason to destroy my property. and im also not saying that his flag was the reason it happened its just a possibility

Dude are you serious? If that's the case we all better get rid of our American flags too, also better take off those "Jesus saves" stickers we know there are plenty of people out there that don't like those anymore. Make sure you don't have any sports teams' logos on there either, we have a pretty good rivalry between the Bulldogs and Gators down here. I'd rather ride a bike around than worry about something I have on my truck offending somebody. I'm proud of my God, my country, and my southern heritage and I'd be ashamed to admit I didn't display that because I might offend someone. If you don't like it; don't look. You can bet that when my truck is road worthy again it'll be flying a battle flag and a cross and I'd be glad to stand up (or throw down) for either one.
Oh yeah, sorry to hear about your truck.
