Eric, what do you mean by that ? I've seen it in other forums too! It appears to me that replacing rusted floors would fall under "paint & body"
Just curious and trying to understand the rules. Right now I'm a little confused.
Thanks, hobo.labo
Hey Hobo, Eric always posts that "moved to proper forum" thing when he moves a post from another fourm. If you see this comment by Torque1st in a thread, then you are in the forum in which the thread belongs. Many times it is to "bump" an unanswered post to the top of the page in the proper forum. Usually its used as a way to bringing attention to an unanswered post.
As for the guys needing info on replacing floor boards, I'm sure the guys in the know will be with you shortly. The Paint & Bodywork forum is definately the place to be.
Thanks Carlene for the reply. It still seems as clear as mud to me, but thats o'k.
I did conclude that it was in the proper place, thats good.
If I get a few more miles under my belt I will catch on to more of whats it like to get from here to there, instead of just getting from here to there.
Anyhow, I love this web page and am always happy to read the different forums. It just amazes me the amount of knowledge there is out there at our finger tips.
Best of all everybody is so willing to share it. A rare commodity these days.
Its a pretty big job for someone who has never done it before.
Are you doing it on the frame or off?
Makes big difference on where to start because if off frame you need to cross brace the body for rigidity ,so things won't get out of shape for the doors
The best way is to get a aftermarket floor pan pieces to weld in.
