Welcome to the forum dano550. I've never tried to upgrade a truck like that before. I do know that for the 450 - 500 series that everything is bigger. Ball joints for instance. So you'll have to find the correct front axle and driveline. If you try and stick the 250 - 350 axle in the front it will be overloaded. The transfer case is the same, I believe. It shouldn't be too hard of a job. Just some very heavy parts. You'll need a couple of floor jacks, buddys, and cases of beer to keep them around.
Have you checked any wrecking yards for the necessary parts?

hey kwik does your truck have a 60 upfront or is it something bigger???
imho you may be ok with a d60 from a 350 up front. really all you got is the weight of the motor up there.

My truck has 5300 lb on the front axle alone. You should see how beefy the frame is on the truck. 1/4" thick steel. VERY heavy.
I don't know what front axle I have right now.

Sounds like you are doing it right with the homework first. Let us know how it goes.
