excursion overhead console

excursion overhead console
I want to replace the factory overhead console with an excursion console. How hard would this be to do?

The digital display is broken in the factory unit, and an excursion console from the boneyard is much cheaper.

is there any difference in the displays/info available on the EX vs the S/D 's?
