Does anybody know how to remove the overhead console. Thanks.

 

There is a clip on each side of the unit. Just pull down on both clips at the same time and the unit will come off the rail.

 

I don't have the overhead rail system, I just have the overhead console with map lights, I want to remove it to add an accessory outlet for a portable dvd player, I don't see anything holding the console in place and don't want to just pull it off and break something. Thanks
