Is the overhead console the same for Excursion and Expedition for 2003? I need one of the sunglass holders and wanted to see if it was inter changeable?

I just pulled one from pick and pull for mine last summer. Same color and everything. Be carefull with the hinges, they break easily. Ford made a lot of money on the Excursion by borrowing parts from the other vehicles in their lineup.

Yes the hinges are broke on mine.

 

I broke one of them trying to get it out. It was the wrong color anyway and thankfully the second one I found was the right color and it came out clean. However, now i don't use it for fear of it breaking again.

 

Really?! These are the same as an Expedition? Well, you just saved me some money with that tidbit! Thanks guys!!

My hinges are okay, but, my light buttons are broke/missing and I found a complete overhead console locally for for an Expedition that looked identical to my Ex's for a lot less than the only non-color matching one I found on fleaBay.
