I bought a set of 4:30 Yukon gears from Randy's Ring and Pinion for my 04 SD.

I wonder why the dealer can't get them. Aren't they an option when you order the Superduty with the V-10? I know you can't get the 4.30's when the PSD is ordered but I'm also sure you can with the V-10. Where does the factory get the 4.30's?

I have not had 4.30s put in but I had the rear end ratio changed on an F150 at Randy's. They stock the absolute best and are great to work with. StevenG

I love them and they are very quite, actually I can't even hear them. I have about 4k miles on them without any problems, some of those towing 12K+.

The Ford part # for the 4.30 gears for the rear axle is 3C3Z-4209-CA and the gears for the front axle would be F81Z-3222-HA. Hope this helps!

You could also try WCD.... www.differentials.com

If I remember correctly, when I was pricing out 4.30s and master install kits front and rear they were the cheapest at the time.
