Horseradish, ummm.
Love it with chopped liver and roast beef and cornedbeef and... Gotta stop, making myself drool.
I like Sossnicks and a lot of Jewish delis have really great homemade.
I like the pure horseradish concoctions best. The Horseradish that is really just spicy mayo is good for other things but isn't real radish in my mind. For this type, I like the Beaverton brand, made in Beaverton Or.
Best radish I had was at a deli in San Jose I think Wolf Creek Deli way back in 1983. I was eating a chopped liver sandwich and my co workers across from me saw the look on my face. They said it looked like the raddish shot up thru my sinuses, thru my eyes and out my ears. I think I was shaking at that time, probably nerve damage. Mmmm goood.
