Horseradish

How many of you like horseradish? And in what form? Me, I like it in chinese hot mustard, as well as wasabi. I love the sudden kick of heat and the way it instantly clears out your nasal passages, nice head rush!! lol. It seems I can't get enough of it lately.

It is very good on hard boiled eggs, especially the red horseradish. Also good with cold ham.

Kraft makes a great snappy horse radish......there are others I like.

compliments a good steak off the grill...or even a burger.

Crab meat with horse radish on a cracker is a winner too.

and then there's oysters on the half shell" Beer ...good beer required.

Burgers cookin...and I'm lookin.

thx

I can't eat roast beef without it. Also love it with certain kinds of pork sausages.

Horseradish? That's one of my favorite food groups.

I use it with mayo when I make tuna fish; as a spread on sandwhiches; just about on any kind of food.

I wish there was a hotter version, though.

And wasabi peas, don't get me started on those.

When I buy them, they don't last very long.

Pop in a 1/4 cup of those wasabi peas and it clears my sinuses.

I'm definitely a big fan of horseradish/wasabi products.

Oh man, I love it! Did you know that saki (rice wine) can turn off the burn just as quick as it starts? I can't tell you how much wasabi I have eaten before the cook at the Japanese place I go said: "here have a sip of this".

Love horseradish on roast beef. Not sure what brand it is but the stuff I have is in a squirt bottle and is probably the best I've had.

Grow your own

It's very easy to grow...and you don't need much room. Then you can have it as "hot" as you like it.....and hotter!! Do a Goggle search on horseradish and you can find out how to grow it...mild or hot.

I love the horseradish the hotter the better.
Never heard of Red horseradish, what makes it red?

I make my own seafood sauce with horseradish - horseradish(hot), ketchup, salt/pepper and some worstersiere sause (sp)
mix dip and go!

Wober's sandwich pal!

I've love horseradish on sandwiches and hamburgers. Probably got it from my grandpa, however he used to tell me it was made from horse***** and mayonaise.
