twin stack 450

Hi I am a new member and want to say hello. I have an f 450 v 10 that runs on propane or gas. I have a new set of borola headers to add. I would like to know has anyone turbocharged running propane? I understand with LP gas you can run 11 or 12 to 1 compression. I am going to run an intercooler to keep the heat down in the cylenders and the heat may cause problems. Has anyone got ideas or have run turbo LP gas. any help will be apreciated. Thanks norm

Twin, welcome aboard. Come on over to the V10 and the SD forums whe you get a chance, I'm sure some folks would like to be in on this discussion too.

See ya around.

a propane system almost needs a turbo IMHO. my friend had a turbo 2.3L that he stuffed in a samuri and he ran it on propane with the turbo and it worke great (aside form problems with the turbo not being rebuilt right from the shop). if i am correct propane is around 114 octane and i am hearing that quiet a few land speed records have been achieved with the use of it. hmmmm... 12:1 compression and 20psi, now thats a motor
