Or y'all could move up to Alberta, where it rarely hits the kind of temps where home AC is nessesary, and when it does, it's usually running around 0% humidity.

Down in Virginia we call your rig a still. Winter is coming and AC won't be needed for a while. I know a guy who got a walk-in cooler set it up outside and modified it to cool his house.

2 ideas:
1. More coils or a radiator with ducting to force the air through it.

2. Put salt on the ice -- make the ice colder by about 20 degrees.

3. Put a small recirc pump in the bucket at the bottom to pump the water back to the top.
