Dixie Horn

Does any one have a dixie horn on there truck if so where did you get it? Does it sound half-way decent? Me and a couple of guys have been looking for one to install on their ford but one guy has a chevy and we give him heck about that truck.

Run two 48" cb whipps and run the mounts on drivers and passenger side on a diamond plate tool box, and put the flag posts in the hole things in the bed rails (i forget what they are called.) And you gotta drive around blaring Hank Williams Jr.'s "thank god im a country boy"

Yeah, i got a set out of whitneys when i was 15 (bought my first truck when i was 14), and they really do sound pretty good as long as you keep the compressor oiled and keep water out of the horns. I think the kit with hoses and everything was only like $60-70.

This thread is causing this Yankee to maybe go out and buy a Saab, then get a horn for it that plays "Battle Hymn of the Republic!"

Let the flaming begin!!
