i got one from jc whitney too, and like powerstrokin said, keep it oiled and keep water out of it and it will be fine. i kept the hose runs on mine short so that there isnt a delay between the notes. i have a pic in my gallery of how mine is set up. works well.
my girlfriend bought one on ebay, looks just like kermits. she wanted me to put it in her honda crv... i told here there wasn't enough room under the hood, i just didn't think it would be right. although she does have a 5' cb antenna mounted in the center of the roof.
I like your setup kermit i'll probably get one off of jc whitney i would love to see that crv with that antenna yeah it is pretty bad when you have take your antenna down when you go through a drive thru lol i have done that a couple of times

Dont have to
I never did. I have a 6' steel whip antenna mounted on my bedrail. Total height of about 10'6" to 11', and the drive thru's are only 9' clearance. Yea, I get a lot of wierd looks when that thing smacks the signs, poles, and scrapes across the metal ceiling.
I just put one on my 77' corolla. It's a field bombing stump jumper. Yeah it has a whip ant' and might turn orange soon, with some flags.
Every time I hit the horn button people turn and laugh. But it does play a little fast and out of tune. Paid $74.00 including shipping from jc whitney.
How do you oil the pump?
BTW the corolla makes a good general lee replica, it has tan interior, four speed, fast back (sort of) and a hemi. Toyota made some 4 cyl hemispherical (sp?) engines. We call it the Gen-rolla.
ive got one, came from jc whitney. havent had it on anything in over 10 years. was first in my '79 amc concord then in a '85 jeep cj-7. been thinking of putting it in the ranger or taurus. would like to get the train horn, the catolog says to "check local noise abatement laws before ordering" im thinking, yeah right, send me TWO!
