i have an 04 and i have the edge juice on it and i love it, i have over 20,000 miles on the truck with the programmer in and no problems, i keep it on the 100hp power level all the time, and i get 20 mpg freeway turning 33's, it only gets better mileage on the highest level though. it was about 500.00 because i didnt get the attitude screen, with the screen its about 800.00
thanks for the replies Guys
Was just seeing if i could get better and hopefully not worse mileage and i see alot of guys talking about the tuner stuff in what it did at the track well at the track i run the camaro NOT THE TRUCK
Iam W/D with MSD so i was looking at the supertuner iam very happy with the truck daily driving and also pulling the trailer its more a FUEL issue i was considering along with added power can live without a few horses and pounds if it was gonna cost me more in the tank
None I've ever had gained me any Fuel Mileage. As a Matter of Fact I have plenty of fuel mileage records that shows the very opposite! But man they are great fun!
in my 05 with 22k on it I placed a superchips tuner in it. I bought the tuner for the increase in MPG......stock i was averaging about 15.4 mpg for the first 3 weeks I had the tuner and playing with it a little bit in performance mode I increased to about 16.9-17.5 best I have now got the play out of it and set it in economy mode still waiting for a verdict there though.
Ok another ? with using a superchip tuner or any other for that matter do i need or is it in my best interest to add 4 or 5 inch exhaust to use this tuner or not needed. again this is not for cruise the streets as much as towing.

Really? I have my on setting one and have noticed about a 1.5 gain on highway, not sure about town. So you didnt notice and difference on any other level?

adding the larger exhaust in itself will help in HP increase and with a tuner it is a defintie advantage. the more it can breathe the better off all together you are. I only have the tuner and can see the results. I plan on adding the larger exhaust and air filters with time but for now the tuner is worth it. and very user friendly.
