4x4 problem...

Ok, so I have a 94 ranger reg cab with a manual 5 speed, auto locking hubs with the push button and 4.0L. when ever I put it into 4wd, it pulls strongly to the right. It even pulls the steering wheel.no groaning or noise just the strong pull... it doens clank or anything either.. only 42000 miles... If you have any ideas, let me know.. I want it fixed b4 snow comes...
