Thanks that makes alot of sence. I dont really tow to much besides a bass boat nothing really the truck really knows is there. Is it a complicated set up to run W/M. How do you get the Meth. You recharge bottles im sure.. and what you just bolt it in the bed of the truck or something.. How much is it to fill. Is it worth the money for the returns.. As it is keeping the engine cooler would you say that this is something that would prolong the life of the truck and finally what do you do about taking it in for service..Im sure its not a 10 min install. Plus im sure it leaves some kinda trace physically on the engine as they would probably wonder why new lines are ran to the engine from the truck bed.. Just curious about these things wondering if it is somehting that would be cost effective for me to have on something i mainly use on the highway.. Curious about the danger factor as well..

I think a tuner would be your best bet. A water/meth system is a little more complicated. If you are worried about taking this thing off for service, then this is definitely not for you. You have to drill and tap in the injector nozzles and do a little hard wiring. The water and meth is placed in a tank whereever you choose to put it. Most folks run windshield washer cleaner for the meth. You have to get the winter blend washer fluid to get one with enough meth to do any good. Hope this helps
Helps alot.. I was running the predator then went in for service and my predator didnt want to work..I know there is an update for it but i am taking this down time to get into an SCT. Think it will be better for me.. The water/meth is very cool but yeah i think your right i dont think it will be for me.. thanks

WOLFEE..I HAVE A SIX GALLON TANK AND THE PUMP MOUNTED INSIDE MY TOOL BOX. THE LINES RUN OUT THE BOTTOM OF THE BOX THRU A HOLE IN THE BED, AND DOWN THE FRAME DRIVERS SIDE FRAME RAIL,UP TO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE W/M IS INJECTED INTO THE INTAKE TUBE POST INTERCOOLER, THRU A MISTING NOZZLE. THE PUMP IS ACTIVATED BY A BOOST SWITCH PLUMBED INTO THE BOOST LINE TO THE MAP SENSOR. I ALSO HAVE A DISARM SWITCH MOUNTED IN THE CAB. I HAVE NEVER BOUGHT METHANOL. I HAVE ONLY USED WINTER FORMULA W/WASHER FLUID, WHICH I HAVE FOUND(DEPENDING ON BRAND) CONTAINS ANY WHERE FROM 20% TO 40% METHANOL. I THEN ADD DISTILLED WATER TO THE 40@ FORMULA. I TRY TO RUN ABOUT 20% METHANOL. I LOVE MY SETUP, JUST GETTING READY TO GO TO A DUAL NOZZLE SET UP
I HAVENT HAD TO GO IN FOR SERVICE YET, BUT I HAVE A NEW BOOST TUBE TO INSTALL IF I HAVE TO GO IN
It sure helps just about everything else burn though!
I've been told that nitrous oxide is just one heck of an oxidizer which, as you were saying, uses that unburnt fuel in the cylinder. I'm not sure exactly how it does this - it's been too many years since I squeeked through college chemistry...
