Starting problem - code PO320
My 96' E-150 5.0 engine has intermittent starting problems and at times stalls. Sometimes first thing in the morning it cranks without starting, then starts the second time. Other times it cranks time and time again with out ever starting. Some times it starts right up. The code reader shows PO320 (Ing/Dist Speed Input Circuit Malfunction). Distributer, roter, all plugs and wires are new and look good. Once I get into the engine to try to find the problem, it seems to start. Figure it's a bad connection, but am at a loss as to where. Any idea of what this code specifically referrs to and any advice?

Thanks for the reply. I finally talked with the local Ford guys who deal with codes and found out that the code PO320 basically points to a bad stater and/or modulater. With those two replaced, it seems trouble free now and shows no codes.
